BIOGRAPHY

Ryan Sobota
Ryan Sobota is a current Pittsburgh Filmmaker with a focus in Producing. He has also been trained in Cinematography, Directing, Editing, Photography, and Sound at Point Park University.
He is mainly known for the 2019 film The Monster Between Us. It has been shown at The Pittsburgh International Film Festival and has been Officially Selected at The Piton International Film Festival and The Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival.
Ryan is an advocate for the support of young, up and coming artists in the filmmaking community and also in the arts and musical community.
Ryan hails from Latrobe, Pennsylvania, the birthplace of Arnold Palmer, Fred Rogers, and the Banana Split. He attended Greater Latrobe Senior High School and was a part of the Broadcast class delivering the daily morning announcements. In his spare time, he was creating sketch comedies and short films for various Broadcast class projects and personal projects.
